Focusing on Success...

History

Rock Creek Resources is a Colorado based independent oil and gas exploration company founded in 2012 via the acquisition of the operated and exploration assets of a long time Texas based family owned oil and gas independent. The acquisition was an internal transaction consummated by Rock Creek’s management team and several of their close industry associates.

The managers of Rock Creek each has over 30 years of industry experience with various energy companies, both majors and independents. This group of professionals has worked every major US basin, offshore, and internationally. They have been engaged in complex exploration projects, acquired thousands of miles of proprietary 2D and 3D seismic, and have overseen or directly funded in excess of 1,000 wells during their careers. They have also personally managed and directed hundreds of acquisitions and divestments that exceed $500 million in aggregate value.

Rock Creek is environmentally conscientious and operates its assets in accordance with all industry regulations and standards, and to the level normally implemented major oil companies and large independents. The Company is very discriminating in regards to the quality of the properties it attempts to acquire. As a result of its environmental focus, the Company targets acquisition opportunities from major or large independent oil and gas operators. Rock Creek undertakes a thorough environmental review on all potential acquisitions, particularly with smaller sized operators. The Company’s objective is to operate assets similar to larger operators and institute aggressive preventive maintenance procedures to avoid any environmental issues throughout Rock Creek’s tenure with the assets. By taking this intensive environmental approach, the Company has historically experienced outstanding relationships with regulatory agencies and its landowner partners.

Rock Creek funds its acquisition, exploration, and development projects with internal capital and conservative traditional bank financing. As a result of this conservative approach, the Company is able to quickly close third party transactions.
